FISWhat a great opportunity we had as a team to participate in the ‘Playful Literacies’ course with Jo. The course was very well structured, authentic and addressed best teaching practices in all learning environments, including ways to tackle the challenges of teaching in current times. The modules were designed with a good balance between course content and pace.

Jo is professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. She welcomes interactions with her attendees, is very attentive in addressing individual needs, and answers questions in great depth. I highly recommend this inspiring course to other early childhood education teams (teachers & teaching assistants).

Working through the guiding questions of self-reflection in each module, lead us to engaging in fruitful discussions that triggered change and will impact more purposeful planning, not just at a team level, but also in individual classrooms. I can already see the impact of the course in our team. We are motivated to take action and implement the ideas shared by Jo.

One very exciting and powerful area of change is the implementation of translanguaging. With this change, we are already seeing positive results. This course offers food for thought and enlightening ideas for expanding on current practices for both educators new to teaching and those with years of experience.
